# Support for Windows

## `zli v. 6.24.5`

{% hint style="info" %}

### **Reminder**

We strongly recommend logging out of the `zli` before initiating an upgrade. This is to ensure there are no stale daemons or connections.
{% endhint %}

### New

* **Checksum for Windows `zli`.** Any update to the Windows `zli` now has a checksum associated with it to ensure download integrity
* **Powershell autodiscovery script for Windows targets.** Users can generate a Powershell autodiscovery script using `zli generate powershell` to register a Windows target
* **Microsoft SQL Server.** This release of the `zli` for all operating systems supports access to Microsoft SQL Server databases

### Enhancements

* **LevelDB.** `zli v. 6.24.5` no longer uses the `prod.json` file and instead uses a LevelDB database that better facilities concurrent access across multiple `zli` and daemon processes

### Fixes

* **Daemons.** Resolved issue where daemons were not successfully closed if the configuration was broken. The new behavior closes a daemon regardless of configuration state
* **`Kubeconfig` maintenance.** Resolved issue with `kubeconfig` holding onto stale entries upon `zli logout`
* **SSH.** Resolved issue where temporary keys saved to a user's ssh-agent could prevent a user from creating an SSH connection
* **\[Released 16 June] Token refresh in the Windows `zli`.** Resolved Windows `zli` issue with hanging shell connections that occurred when the daemons attempted to refresh their BZcert

## `bzero v. 7.14.2`

### New

* **Checksum for Windows agent.** Any update to the Windows agent now has a checksum associated with it to ensure download integrity
* **SQL Server targets.** This agent release contains the changes necessary to support access to SQL Servers targets
* **AWS RDS Postgres.** Passwordless access to AWS RDS Postgres targets is available through `bzero v. 7.14.2`. To get started, reach out to <product@bastionzero.com>

### Enhancements

* **LevelDB.** This release of the agent contains the changes necessary to support the shift to LevelDB in the `zli`

### Fixes

* **Agent version.** Resolved an issue with the agent version injected during the build sequence

## Web app & backend

### New

* **Targets API.** The [targets API](https://cloud.bastionzero.com/api/#tag--Targets) will return all targets that are accessible to you based on currently configured policies
* **Windows agent autodiscovery.** This backend release contains the changes necessary to support autodiscovery of the Windows agent
* **SQL Server targets.** This backend release contains the changes necessary to support the addition of SQL Servers targets

### Fixes

* **Subject endpoint.** Resolved issue with email not returning from the `/api/v2/subjects/me` endpoint
* **Edit policies with targets as resources.** Resolved issue with the web app when editing policies with targets selected as their resource
* **View session recordings of deleted targets.** Resolved issue where session recordings for connections to deleted targets were no longer displaying in the web app
* **\[Released 8 July] Agent version.** Resolved issue with agents that were moved to an "Offline" state when `connection-node-failed` for agents with an invalid agent version (`$AGENT_VERSION`)
