circle-info

Reminder

We strongly recommend logging out of the zli before initiating an upgrade. This is to ensure there are no stale daemons or connections.

New

  • Checksum for Windows zli. Any update to the Windows zli now has a checksum associated with it to ensure download integrity

  • Powershell autodiscovery script for Windows targets. Users can generate a Powershell autodiscovery script using zli generate powershell to register a Windows target

  • Microsoft SQL Server. This release of the zli for all operating systems supports access to Microsoft SQL Server databases

Enhancements

  • LevelDB. zli v. 6.24.5 no longer uses the prod.json file and instead uses a LevelDB database that better facilities concurrent access across multiple zli and daemon processes

Fixes

  • Daemons. Resolved issue where daemons were not successfully closed if the configuration was broken. The new behavior closes a daemon regardless of configuration state

  • Kubeconfig maintenance. Resolved issue with kubeconfig holding onto stale entries upon zli logout

  • SSH. Resolved issue where temporary keys saved to a user's ssh-agent could prevent a user from creating an SSH connection

  • [Released 16 June] Token refresh in the Windows zli. Resolved Windows zli issue with hanging shell connections that occurred when the daemons attempted to refresh their BZcert

bzero v. 7.14.2

New

  • Checksum for Windows agent. Any update to the Windows agent now has a checksum associated with it to ensure download integrity

Fixes

  • Agent version. Resolved an issue with the agent version injected during the build sequence

Web app & backend

New

  • Targets API. The targets APIarrow-up-right will return all targets that are accessible to you based on currently configured policies

  • Windows agent autodiscovery. This backend release contains the changes necessary to support autodiscovery of the Windows agent

  • SQL Server targets. This backend release contains the changes necessary to support the addition of SQL Servers targets
