zli v. 6.35.1
Use environments as proxy targets. A web or DB targetβs proxy target can now be set to an environment rather than an explicitly named target. When a user connects to the web or DB target, BastionZero will use an available target within the specified environment to proxy the connection. Note that when creating a web or DB target, you will need to specify whether the proxy type is environment or target. This is true both in the web app and through the API.
Display profile picture in desktop app. Resolved an issue with displaying the IdP profile picture within the desktop app by ensuring the zli
refreshes the profile picture associated with the IdP account on token refresh.
Use environments as proxy targets. This release of the backend includes all the necessary changes to support using an environment as a proxy for web and DB targets.
Just-in-time access to passwordless database targets. Leverage ephemeral access for your passwordless database targets (both SplitCert and service account injection). To learn more about enabling this capability, see our guides for enabling your users to request temporary access to targets via Slack and service accounts via GitHub Actions .
Remove erroneous SSM references. Removed any remaining references to the deprecated SSM agent.
Incorrect ProxyTargetId
returned by PATCH
. Resolved an issue where DbSummary
or WebSummary
in the PATCH
returned the incorrect ProxyTargetId
if the target was modified.
Create database targets. BastionZero's Terraform provider now supports creating database targets. Find our Terraform provider .
